My first trip with the Raven Scout 380 fishing in the Interior and the Cariboo. I bought this boat specifically due to the quality and durability of the boat. When I first saw this boat online I wanted one. I have had several inflatables over the years and this was the best one overall of all I have owned.
This post was created to show how efficient it is to use The Raven Scout 380 to be a fishing boat. You can put this boat together with all the accessories in just under a hour. Its easy to inflate and deflate. It weighs 120 lbs. You will receive a lot of compliments when using this boat. Fisherman love it
My first task was to outfit the boat with Scotty products that I had put on my previous boats for fishing. This included mounts for fishing rods, anchors, sonar fish finder, cup holders and possibly a mount for my cell phone. I then added 2 tires at the rear to push or pull the boat to shore.
I also bought a brand new 3.5 Tohatsu motor to power the boat as I mostly fish small lakes in the Cariboo. Unfortunitally the motor is not operating properly. I am arranging to have it looked at in the near future. So happy I brought my 55 LB Shakespeare electric motor. The electric motor had no problems propelling the boat.

On this trip i spent time at 2 lakes. Loon Lake which is located just past Clinton and Lac le Jeune located 30 minutes past Kamloops. Both are small lakes that are great for fishing. The first resort , Loon lake , I caught 10 fish. Unfortunitally at lac Le Jeune I did not catch anything. That’s fishing.
