Sumallo Grove in Manning Park last Thursday with my good friend Tracy.. Not much snow in this outing with Tracy . But outing filled with special memories. An old truck next to a abandoned mine, a beautiful waterfall, a abandoned house and outbuildings with furniture and tools left to view. Sumallo grove is a beautiful old growth forest in the Lower Mainland. Spruce mixed in with old Cedars trees fill the forest. Such a beautiful relaxing snowshoe adventure. We could have done this hike with Micro spikes, but we kept our snowshoes on for most of the hike. Glad we did as we ventured of the trail on numerous occasions where we would have sank in the snow a bit lol
