Lake Louise

On my drive back from Toronto recently I stopped in Lake Louise to take some photos of the lake. These photos were taken with a small Sony Cyber-shot 10.1 Mega Pixels digital camera. Lake Louise is located approximately 60 Kilometers from the town of Banff in Banff National Park. The lake was frozen on the day I went. It just so happened to be my birthday on May 05, 2013. It,s called the jewel of the Rockies. Victoria Glacier is located at the end of the lake where a trail takes you  to a trail system called the Plain of Six Glaciers. As the lake was still frozen I put this trail on one of my most important trails to visit this summer.

You can also see this lake on http://tedsblackandwhitepictures.wordpress.com/2013/05/14/lake-louise-4/  . Those pictures are in black and white.
